How to Find Volunteers
In the first part of the Maximize Your Volunteer Program series participants will learn how to find volunteers. This interactive workshop will inform participants about common problems most nonprofits have recruiting volu nteers, the reasons people volunteer for any organization, and methods to quantify a volunteer program.

Instructor: Christopher L. Scott has almost ten years of experience leading volunteers and running nonprofit programs within a large organization such as the United Way. He also founded and led a program that relied on more than 100 volunteers called A Day of Hope. His diverse experience leading volunteers has been in basic food programs as well as complex company-based fundraising drives. He authored the book, A Day of Hope: Leading Volunteers to Make a Difference in Your Community, and has published almost 1,000 blog posts about biblical leadership and nonprofit management. He holds a bachelor's degree in Christian Ministry & Leadership from Fresno Pacific University and is currently working on a master's degree in Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary.
